Narberth News

  • Daniel Keating of Narberth's Keating Construction Co, has passed away at Age 90.  See the obituary here.
  • Narberth's Royal Bancshare continues to have financial difficulties in relation to loans which have defaulted due to the real estate market.  More information is here.  Royal Banshare is the Borough's largest employer with approximately 68 employees.

  • Narberth has approved the hiring of a new police officer, Michael Vernacchio.  He will be moving to Narberth's force from the Montgomery County Sheriff's office.  Also, Office Pete Weihermuller is returning to the Borough police force after an extended medical leave of absence.  A Main Line Times article is here.
  • A local entrepreneur is featured in the Main Line Times as well...me.  That's right, your Narblog editor talks about his day job making Thinking Putty.
