• Daniel Keating of Narberth's Keating Construction Co, has passed away at Age 90.  See the obituary here.
• Narberth's Royal Bancshare continues to have financial difficulties in relation to loans which have defaulted due to the real estate market.  More information is here.  Royal Banshare is the Borough's largest employer with approximately 68 employees.

• Narberth has approved the hiring of a new police officer, Michael Vernacchio.  He will be moving to Narberth's force from the Montgomery County Sheriff's office.  Also, Office Pete Weihermuller is returning to the Borough police force after an extended medical leave of absence.  A Main Line Times article is here.
• A local entrepreneur is featured in the Main Line Times as well...me.  That's right, your Narblog editor talks about his day job making Thinking Putty.

The Spanish House at the corner or N. Wynnewood and Sabine Ave will be demolished and replaced by four new homes to be priced between $800,000 and $1,000,000.

Last Summer Concert Tonight

Be sure to swing by Narberth Park for the final summer concert between 7pm and 9pm.  Last week's Strawberry Festival was supposed to be the end, however, once rained out concert will be performed tonight.  See you there!
