Final Protest Against Plan 3R Tonight at LMHS

Tonight at 8 p.m. is the School Board Meeting for the final vote on school redistricting.  We are asking people to please come to a protest against Plan 3R tonight at 7 p.m. in front of Lower Merion High School.  Bring candles or a glow stick for safety.

The School District will vote on its final redistricting plan tonight at 8pm.  As it stands, some Narberth students will retain school choice while others will have walking options to LMHS.  Read the PDF file above for more details.

Completely off-topic, but has anyone heard what will become of Cafe Insomnia on Montgomery? For a while they had a sign saying they were moving to 'downtown' Narberth, but I've seen no trace of any reincarnation. Anyone have any info, or heard any buzz? (IMO, we could use a cafe with a sizeable seating area -- no disrespect meant to Mitron, Cheese Shop, etc.)
