Winter is still here but spring approaches, slowly. Narberth seems to go into hibernation during the winter months. So much of our interaction and community spirit comes from the pedestrian nature of our town. When the weather clears, we'll be out on the streets again chatting, shopping, gardening, and more.
During the cold winter, a number of new businesses have filled empty storefronts on Haverford Ave. "Ewe and I" is a knitting and crochet store which nicely complements "Cloth and Bobbin" a few doors up. "Kevin's Cards" run by Kevin Auerbach is up and running. Kevin offers lots of activities to engage parents and children together in various card collecting hobbies. Sign up for his weekly emails of upcoming events. Also, a new store is about to open in the old location of "Tanaka Tein". They've chosen Earth Day to open.
Give it three more weeks, and I'll see you on the streets!
